rack-jobber module (IS-R)

Rack-jobber modules are modules for which vendors take responsibility for delivering and presenting materials in stores. A rack-jobber module can only be assigned to one vendor. A vendor can, however, have more than just one rack-jobber module. A material that is listed in a rack-jobber module cannot be listed in any other rack-jobber modules. As materials listed in rack-jobber modules are managed differently at POS, you can analyze sales and revenue information specifically for materials maintained by rack-jobber modules.
