qualifying relationship (CA-MDG)

Example: Master Data Governance (CA-MDG)

A relationship between two entity types, whereby a set of attributes of a qualified entity type can be maintained depending on the keys of the qualifying entity type. The qualified entity type must already be the dependent entity type in a leading relationship with another entity type. For example, company code is the qualifying entity type for the company code-dependent data of a supplier, which is also dependent on the supplier, as a leading entity type.
